About Hartron

Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON) is the nodal agency of Haryana Government, engaged in promoting and accelerating the pace of the Electronics and IT Industry in the State with an emphasis on the development of state-of-the-art IT Solutions. HARTRON offers its expertise both in infrastructural development as well as promotion of projects. Under the infrastructure development the Corporation has set up assisted sector projects, Electronics City, Software Technology Park, EHTP (Electronic Hardware Technology Park) and is also setting up Hi-tech Habitat to strengthen the electronics and IT industry in the State. The Corporation through its R&D and facility centres, is providing a wide range of facilities which include development of electronic products, precision mechanical components,CAD/CAM, training through franchise centers, IT-enabled Services, computer consultancy and software development.In addition, servicing and maintenance of electronic and medical equipments is also undertaken.

This Corporation started its operations in January,1983 with main objective of developing and promoting electronics and IT industry in a systematic and scientific manner. All the promotional and development programs of the State Government in the field of electronics are being handled by HARTRON. The Corporation is playing a lead role in IT developments in the State and has established credibility at the national and international level.

Presently, the Corporation is placing major thrust on application of Information Technology in Government and is actively involved in drafting the Information Technology Policy and Action Plan of the State.
